About The Position

The Registered Nurse in the Recovery Room protects, promotes, and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of Registered Nurse licensure. The RN collaborates with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to coordinate care across the continuum. The role includes assessing and supporting patients’ physical symptoms, providing psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentoring assigned team members, promoting best practices, and maintaining a professional disposition at all times. This is a weekend position. Pay is $37.05–$54.54 per hour, based on years of licensure. Weekend program hours receive a 40% premium of the base rate; night shift hours receive an additional $4.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in the appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan).
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification is required before the employment start date.

• Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment.
• Basic proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft applications.
