About The Position

The Registered Nurse in the Recovery Room protects, promotes, and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of Registered Nurse licensure. The nurse collaborates with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to coordinate care across the continuum. Responsibilities include assessing and supporting physical symptoms, providing psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentoring assigned team members, promoting best practices, and maintaining a professional disposition at all times.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in Illinois or Michigan.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification before the employment start date.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment.
• Basic proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft applications.
