As a nurse at HSN, you would be joining a dynamic multidisciplinary team of Medical and Rehabilitation professionals who are highly dedicated to provide exemplary care to patients and families in Northeastern Ontario. HSN provides a full range of nursing services and allows for a unique opportunity to operate within a large scope of practice. In partnership with Ontario Health, Health Sciences North is excited to provide through the Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN) a $25,000 incentive to eligible nurses in exchange for a two-year commitment to Health Sciences North. HSN has a variety of incentives available for new hires such as Relocation Services. This posting is not for an existing vacancy but is intended to identify potential candidates for future opportunities. Please note there are various casual opportunities. While these opportunities could be in any department across HSN, we have an immediate need within our acute care settings.

Requirements

  • A graduate from an approved School of Nursing (university or college) with a current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support BCLS.
  • Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate is required.
  • Additional qualifications may be required.
