About The Position
Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Medical Surgical (Med Surg) unit, providing high-quality care to patients. This position is essential in supporting our patient community during night shifts. The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients in the Med Surg unit. Requirements
- 2 years of solid Med Surg nursing experience required
- BLS Certification is required
- Experience with Cerner EMR is a must
- Positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Floating between both Med Surg units is required
Responsibilities
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitoring patient progress and communicating changes to the healthcare team
- Assisting with EKG strip interpretation for cardiac monitoring
- Collaborating with physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care
