About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver, direct, and supervise care for patients admitted to the nursing unit. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the RN uses the nursing process to plan, coordinate, and provide patient care. Duties include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, teaching patients and families about post-hospitalization care, and accessing community resources. The RN may perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including serving as a Charge Nurse; ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses. Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital is located, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Current BLS certification; certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
- Evidence of ACLS certification within 90 days of employment; current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
