About The Position

Registered Nurses provide nursing care to patients in collaboration with families and in accordance with the American Nurses Association Standards of Professional Nursing Practice. The Registered Nurse provides primary nursing care and is responsible for the nursing care process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The role involves working with patients across populations and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Maintain CPR and any other credentialing or certification necessary to be competent as a Registered Nurse in an area of specialty.
• Be proficient in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate competency, individually and as part of the multidisciplinary team, in performing clinical care and assessment of all patient populations.
• Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care to assigned patients.
• Assist physicians with special tests and procedures.
• Function effectively during emergency procedures according to policy and procedure.
• Facilitate a team approach to the patient plan of care, incorporating all disciplines involved.
• Incorporate standards of care into nursing practice.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance the skills necessary to work with assigned patients.
• Serve as a clinical resource to support the development of other nursing staff members.
• Exhibit professional interpersonal skills in all situations.
• Protect and preserve patient rights to confidentiality.
