About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity critical care in a MedSurg ICU setting. The RN will manage complex patients in a fast-paced Level II Trauma Center, delivering advanced nursing care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• 2–3+ years ICU experience preferred
• Strong cardiac and neuro ICU experience required
• General surgery ICU experience preferred
• Trauma ICU experience preferred
• Ability to work in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
• Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for ICU patients with complex medical conditions
• Monitor and manage critically ill patients in a 1:2–1:3 ratio
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and critical care interventions
• Manage ventilated and post-surgical ICU patients
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Perform continuous patient assessments and respond to clinical changes
• Document patient care accurately in EMR systems
• Float between units as needed based on facility demand
• Maintain adherence to ICU protocols and safety standards
