About The Position
Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. This is a temporary full-time, 14-week assignment on the day shift. The unit is a 10-bed unit on the 2nd floor of the Sentara Heart Hospital, serving patients with conditions such as cardiac issues (non-surgical), pulmonary hypertension, heart attacks, heart failure, and sepsis. The unit also serves as the Mobile Response Team (MRT) for the Heart Hospital.
Requirements
- Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, or diploma in the Nursing Field.
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ACLS certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification.
- 2 or more years of recent acute care ICU hospital RN experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
- Manage patients with cardiac conditions, pulmonary hypertension, heart attacks, heart failure, and sepsis.
- Serve as the MRT for the Heart Hospital.
