About The Position

Redbud Pediatrics is a physician-owned private practice with eleven clinicians and two locations in Wichita, Kansas. We are looking for a registered nurse for a full-time or part-time position. We are a diverse, collaborative, multilingual, and independent group. Redbud Pediatrics embraces the responsibility to care for children in our community from a wide range of backgrounds and needs. We accept an insurance mix of public and private payors representative of regional pediatric demographics, while maintaining the highest quality of care for patients. Come join our team! Our nurses play a key role in the health care team. We work collaboratively across all levels and departments in our organization. Registered Nurse will perform various clinical and administrative duties under the direction of Administration, Clinicians, and Clinical Supervisor.

Requirements

Knowledge of medical terminology, infection control, HIPPA, & OSHA regulations
Excellent assessment skills with the ability to exercise critical thinking in the clinical environment.
Strong organizational skills.
Effective communication skills a must – ability to communicate clearly with team members, medical professionals, those we serve, and their families.
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program
Current State of Kansas RN license in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, and/or PALS
Two years of related experience working in a pediatric or hospital setting, ideally with medically complex patients.
