About The Position

The Registered Nurse position is in Hospice Home Care and is located at 330 Monroe Ave, Rochester, NY. The role is scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It involves mobile clinical care in patients’ homes and other settings, with frequent driving and independent patient-care responsibilities. The posting includes a pay range of $55,120.00 to $74,880.00.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in social work listed under required qualifications; MSW preferred.
• Valid New York State driver’s license.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license from the NYS Office of Professions.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• A minimum of 3–5 years of related experience and knowledge of hospice regulations are preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Master of Social Work (MSW).
• A minimum of 3–5 years of related experience and knowledge of hospice regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile clinical care in patients’ homes or other settings.
• Drive frequently and repeatedly enter and exit vehicles.
• Make decisions and manage patient care independently in the field or home setting.
• Carry equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. or more on occasion.
