About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital Ft. Worth - Plano is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronically and critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses provide compassionate patient care throughout treatment and recovery. The position is based in Plano, Texas, and is full-time, day shift, scheduled 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Compensation is $39.38–$53.00 per hour, based on years of experience.

Requirements

Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS certification required at hire.
ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
Demonstrate competence in Rapid Response and code events.
Instruct and counsel patients and families.
Perform other duties as assigned.
