About The Position
Select Specialty Hospital Ft. Worth - Plano is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU care to chronic, critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses provide compassionate, excellent treatment and support patients throughout their recovery. The role is based in Plano, Texas, and is full-time on day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Compensation is $39.38–$53.00 per hour, based on years of experience. The hospital provides an extensive RN orientation program, career development opportunities, and support for employees' professional growth and personal well-being.
Requirements
- Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS certification required at hire.
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities
- Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
- Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
- Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
- Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
- Demonstrate competence in Rapid Response and code events.
- Instruct and counsel patients and families.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
