Registered Nurse Med Surg Travel
About The Position
Ascension Premier Staffing is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Med Surg department. Local and national travel options are available depending on need, with assignments at St. Vincent in Jacksonville, Florida; Columbia St. Mary's Ozaukee in Wisconsin; St. John in Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, Tennessee. Night shifts are available for 36 hours per week. The gross rate is up to $2,117 per week. The nurse provides direct patient care according to established policies and protocols, implements and monitors care plans, coordinates multidisciplinary care, carries out physician and nursing orders, and works with the healthcare team on patient discharge planning. Required qualifications include a nursing diploma from an accredited school or college, an RN license obtained before the hire or transfer date (a compact license or a license relevant to the travel assignment location), BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire or transfer, and one year of RN experience in an acute care setting, including acute care experience within the last year.
Requirements
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire or job transfer; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification is accepted.
- Registered Nurse license obtained before the hire or job transfer date; a compact RN license or a state RN license relevant to the travel assignment location is required before the assignment starts.
- Diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing.
- One year of RN experience in an acute care setting.
- Acute care experience within the last year.
Responsibilities
