About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides patient care using the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—in accordance with the organization’s mission. The role organizes and supervises care provided by supportive personnel and coordinates care with ancillary services. The nurse includes patients and their significant others or families in developing individualized plans of care and educates them about disease processes and care plans. The nurse also serves as a patient advocate and provides care to patients requiring treatment for medical, surgical, or other conditions, including chronic medical conditions and minor injuries or illnesses. Diploma nurses must have more than five years of progressive care experience.
