About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Med/Surg Unit at Baptist South. This is a full-time day position working 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. CNAs assist Registered Nurses in caring for patients and work under the supervision of an RN. The role is based at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida.
Requirements
- Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant certification is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Collect laboratory specimens.
- Monitor patient intake and output.
- Document in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
