About The Position
The Registered Nurse, Med/Surg, Uro/Nephro provides care to patients requiring treatment for medical, surgical, urological, nephrological, or other conditions, including chronic medical conditions and minor injuries or illnesses. The nurse uses the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to address patient needs in alignment with the organization’s mission. The role includes organizing and supervising care provided by supportive personnel, coordinating services provided by ancillary departments, involving patients and their significant others or families in individualized care planning, educating them about disease processes and plans of care, and serving as a patient advocate. Diploma-prepared nurses must have more than five years of progressive care experience. The position is full-time on the day shift at Baptist South, South - Main Building, 14550 Old St Augustine Rd, Jacksonville, Florida 32258.
