About The Position

ChristianaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Labor & Delivery departments at our Women's & Children's Building on our Newark Campus. This is a part-time position with 12-hour shifts, involving rotating shifts (7AM - 7PM & 7PM - 7AM), weekend and holiday commitment, and an on-call rotation. The role offers opportunities to train in Labor & Delivery, High Risk OB, OB Peri-Op, and Antenatal. Once established in L&D, there's also an opportunity to train in OBGYN Emergency. The department supports over 6,500 births annually, with a mission to serve the community with love and excellence. As an RN at ChristianaCare, you will practice with a standard of nursing excellence, providing optimal outcomes for safe delivery of care for Labor and Delivery patients and families.

Requirements

• BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire.
• Two years of Acute Care experience strongly preferred.
• Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware.
• BLS required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in women's & children's services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for Labor and Delivery patients and families.
• Train in Labor & Delivery, High Risk OB, OB Peri-Op, and Antenatal.
