About The Position

The Middletown Emergency Department currently seeks an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse. Join our Free-Standing Emergency Department serving Middletown-Odessa-Townsend area. Our modern, full-service emergency department features: 22 private treatment rooms, 24/7 staffing by board-certified emergency physicians and experienced emergency nurses, on-site laboratory with walk-in hours (7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.), dedicated imaging services, and comprehensive care for the most common emergency needs.

Requirements

BSN required or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire.
Appropriate clinical experience.
At least one year of experience in a medical/surgical acute care environment is required.
BLS certification is required.

Nice To Haves

One year of nursing experience in an emergency department or critical care setting preferred.
ACLS is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care in an emergency department setting.
Work with board-certified emergency physicians and experienced emergency nurses.
Utilize on-site laboratory and dedicated imaging services.
Provide comprehensive care for common emergency needs.
