About The Position

The Middletown Emergency Department is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join their team. This is a Free-Standing Emergency Department serving the Middletown-Odessa-Townsend area. The department is modern and full-service, featuring 22 private treatment rooms, 24/7 staffing by board-certified emergency physicians and experienced emergency nurses, on-site laboratory services, and dedicated imaging services. They provide comprehensive care for the most common emergency needs.

Requirements

• BSN required or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire.
• Appropriate clinical experience.
• At least one year of experience in a medical/surgical acute care environment is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• One year of nursing experience in an emergency department or critical care setting preferred.
• ACLS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an emergency department setting.
• Work 72 hours per pay period, with shifts from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Work every 3rd weekend.
• Adhere to department rotation guidelines for holidays.
