About The Position

The Middletown Emergency Department currently seeks an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse. Join our Free-Standing Emergency Department serving Middletown-Odessa-Townsend area. Our modern, full-service emergency department features: 22 private treatment rooms, 24/7 staffing by board-certified emergency physicians and experienced emergency nurses, on-site laboratory with walk-in hours (7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.), dedicated imaging services, and comprehensive care for the most common emergency needs.

Requirements

• BSN required or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire.
• Appropriate clinical experience.
• At least one year of experience in a medical/surgical acute care environment is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• One year of nursing experience in an emergency department or critical care setting preferred.
• ACLS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an emergency department setting.
• Work with board-certified emergency physicians and experienced emergency nurses.
• Utilize on-site laboratory and dedicated imaging services.
• Provide comprehensive care for common emergency needs.
