About The Position

The Staff Med/Surg Registered Nurse at Riddle Hospital provides care and treatment to a Med/Surg patient population as part of an interdisciplinary team on a 14-bed unit. The unit is currently Med/Surg and is expected to convert to Telemetry in the near future. Nurses may engage in hospital and system-wide nursing committees, unit councils, evidence-based research projects, precepting new staff, and the Clinical Ladder program. The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, on the day shift from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, with an every-third-weekend rotation.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of RN experience.
• RN Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
• Pennsylvania RN license or a multistate license verified in an approved state through the Nursing Licensure Compact.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of RN experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred.

Responsibilities
