About The Position

Centurion is seeking a full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Hill Correctional Center in Galesburg, IL. This role involves providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. The RN will work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to address the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients. Travel RNs assigned to Illinois can earn up to $2685/week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend. Travelers are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees and will work at various facilities/locations throughout the state of Illinois, with each assignment restricted to one location.

Requirements

Licensed RN with an active license to practice in Illinois
Minimum of one year of work experience as an RN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Nice To Haves

Corrections experience preferred
Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient.
Working between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Illinois, per contract needs.
