About The Position

Join Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as a part-time, night-shift Registered Nurse in the Neuro Care Center Medical Surgical unit. The RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents patient care in accordance with HHS standards and applicable patient care policies and procedures. The role requires providing age-appropriate care, understanding growth and development across the lifespan, assessing and interpreting patient information, and identifying each patient's age-specific needs. The RN must follow the rules and regulations of the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act. Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Current valid Oklahoma or multistate RN license.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care activities in accordance with HHS standards.
Provide care appropriate to the ages of patients served on the assigned unit.
Apply knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan; assess and interpret patient-status data to identify age-specific care requirements.
Develop, modify, and implement plans of care in accordance with HHS standards and patient care policies and procedures.
Adhere to the rules and regulations of the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
