About The Position

The Registered Nurse works in the Neuro Care Center Medical Surgical unit at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents patient care in accordance with HHS standards and Patient Care policies and procedures to provide efficient, effective, quality care. The role requires delivering care appropriate to patients’ ages and developmental needs, interpreting patient data, and developing, modifying, and implementing individualized plans of care. The RN must comply with the rules and regulations of the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Current valid Oklahoma or multistate RN license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.

• Experience as an RN in a unit-specific setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care activities in accordance with HHS standards.
• Provide care appropriate to the age of patients served on the assigned unit.
• Apply knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan and assess and interpret patient data to identify age-specific care requirements.
• Develop, modify, and implement plans of care in accordance with HHS standards and Patient Care policies and procedures.
• Adhere to the rules and regulations of the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
