About The Position

Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for providing care to assigned patients, coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments, and maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. This position is for weekends only on 3B Surgical and is full-time nights.

Requirements

• Graduated from a school of nursing; an Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN is accepted.
• Maintain a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure for the state where nursing duties are performed, and meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or successfully complete the course within 30 days of hire.
• Depending on the position or unit, hold or obtain required unit-specific certifications within the department's required timeframe. Potential certifications listed include ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E. Six Assessment & Care Modules, and C-EFM.
