About The Position

Registered Nurses in the Critical Care setting are important members of the medical team, caring for sick and vulnerable patients. They provide high-quality medical care as well as a compassionate presence to patients and families during joyful, stressful, and uncertain times. This PRN, as-needed role has a minimum commitment of two weeks and is located at Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville, Illinois. Scheduled weekly hours are listed as 0. Pay ranges from $32.00 to $48.30, with the actual rate based on relevant experience, skills, training, certifications, and education.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice.
• Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. In Wisconsin, a valid multistate RN license may be used as outlined in Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications are required when applicable to the patient population in the specialty area worked.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
