About The Position

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in a GI Lab environment. The role involves patient care and recovery in the GI Lab setting and includes varying shift start times. The position may require floating among locations in Highland Park, Skokie, and Evanston. Shifts start between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM, with a commitment of 36–40 hours per week. New hires attend a day-shift orientation session, with modules and testing expected to take approximately 6–8 hours.

Candidates should submit an updated resume, two current references, an updated skills checklist, and proof of passing the EKG test with a score of 80% or above.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current Illinois RN license.
• CPR and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with EKG monitoring and interpretation.
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care in a high-paced environment.
• Provide an updated resume, two current references, an updated skills checklist, and proof of passing the EKG test with a score of 80% or above.

Nice To Haves

• Travel or PRN nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Admit patients and assess their pre-procedural needs.
• Provide care for patients in phase II recovery.
• Assist in the procedure room when needed.
• Start IVs and manage intravenous therapies.
• Float to different locations as needed.
