About The Position

CarDon is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Greenwood Health and Living. The RN delivers high-quality care in a supportive, collaborative environment by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating resident care plans. The role works with a multidisciplinary team to promote health outcomes and provide personalized care based on each resident’s needs. The RN’s expertise and compassionate approach help foster a healing environment and support residents and their families throughout their healthcare journey. The position offers flexible nursing schedules and opportunities for career growth, including advancement into leadership roles. CarDon provides tuition assistance, access to educational resources through CarDon University, and a Leadership Acceleration Path (LeAP). RNs who average 40 hours per week may earn up to $6,000 annually in additional income, paid as $500 for each month they meet the hourly goal.

Requirements

Hold a current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana.
Have an Associate degree in nursing (ADN).
Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents’ health status and needs.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitoring their effectiveness and side effects.
Educate residents and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
Document resident care activities accurately and promptly in compliance with regulatory standards.
