About The Position
Reporting to the Urban Primary Health Care Manager, the Registered Nurse is an integral member of the primary health care team, providing and coordinating initial, continuing and comprehensive nursing services to patients in the PHC sites. This Registered Nurse promotes quality health care outcomes working within established standards for case management practice. The Registered Nurse initiates and/or participates in community development initiatives and participates in the evaluation of Primary Health Care initiatives within the site. Home base for this position is: 2180 23rd Avenue (WRC). Requirements
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Computer skills

- Ability to apply evidence-based decision making

- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have a vehicle available for work.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in teaching adults, facilitation skills, and leading group activities
- Experience in case management is an asset
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
Responsibilities
- Providing and coordinating initial, continuing and comprehensive nursing services to patients in the PHC sites.
- Promoting quality health care outcomes working within established standards for case management practice.
- Initiating and/or participating in community development initiatives.
- Participating in the evaluation of Primary Health Care initiatives within the site.
- Providing services in clinic/home settings in PHC Regina.
- Travel required to various community sites within Regina PHC Networks.
Benefits
