About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, competent, and evidence-based nursing care within a client- and family-centered model. Working both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, the RN conducts assessments, develops and implements care plans, provides health education, and supports clients across diverse social, economic, cultural, and age groups. The RN practices in accordance with the standards of the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS), the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics, and the mission, philosophy, and objectives of the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Nursing diploma
  • Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certificate (BLS-HCP)

  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel/Outlook)

  • High level of accuracy is required in handling specialized equipment
  • Valid driver's license, where required
  • Practices with Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics
  • High level of accuracy required in health assessment/nursing diagnosis/treatment
  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
  • Supports the mission/philosophy/objectives of the Saskatchewan Health Authority
  • Applicants must upload all relevant documents (ex: certificates, diplomas, proof of enrollment, licenses and/or memberships) relating to the qualifications of the position
  • Bring a valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) to the interview; it must be dated within six (6) months and include a vulnerable sector search

Nice To Haves

  • Nursing experience in Chronic Disease Management is desired
  • Knowledge in LEAN management system
