Registered Nurse (RN) Float - Primary Care Clinics
About The Position
The Registered Nurse Float provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The RN uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills while helping create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. This role supports primary care clinics, including Aurora Family Medicine in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The clinics provide comprehensive preventive care, diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses and chronic diseases, and referrals to specialists when needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours varying between 6:45 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The position is full-time at 40 hours per week and includes a float premium.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
