Registered Nurse, South 2, Memorial, Days, 24 Hours
About The Position
Responsible for the planning, delivery and management of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and adhering to the standards of nursing practice. This position is in South 2 at Memorial and is scheduled for 24 hours per week on the day shift, 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. The schedule includes every other weekend and every other holiday. The role uses the nursing process to manage patient care from admission through discharge, performs assessments and reassessments, coordinates individualized care and discharge planning, and directs, supervises, coordinates, and evaluates nursing care within the assigned clinical setting. The nurse delegates responsibilities appropriately based on job description and competency level.
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
- BLS certification, unless current ACLS certification is held; unit-specific certifications and competencies may also be required.
- Thorough knowledge of the discipline of nursing.

- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
Responsibilities
