Registered Nurse, West One, Memorial, Nights, 24-Hours
About The Position
Responsible for planning, delivering, and managing direct patient care using the nursing process and adhering to nursing practice standards. The role uses the nursing process to manage patient care from admission through discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population. The nurse assesses and reassesses patients, develops and coordinates individualized plans of care including discharge planning, directs and evaluates nursing care in the assigned clinical setting, and delegates appropriately based on job descriptions and competency levels. This 24-hour-per-week position is scheduled for night shifts from 2245 to 0715. It includes every other weekend and every other holiday. The work is indoors in a patient care environment and is considered medium physical work.
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
- Current BLS certification, unless current ACLS certification is held; unit-specific certifications and competencies may also be required.
- Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing is highly preferred.
