Registered Nurse (RN) - Recovery
About The Position
Under minimal supervision, the Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care for patients across the stated age range, following established standards and practices. The nurse supports the mission, policies, and procedures of the Baptist Health System, completes position competencies within the designated introductory period, and performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Possess a current Texas State Registered Nurse license or be currently eligible for state board certification.
- BLS certification obtained through approved American Heart Association Training or the Military Training Network.
- For Surgery Services, ACLS is required and must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer into the unit.
- For Post Anesthesia, PALS is required and must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer into the unit.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Completion of a peri-anesthesia or critical care internship/training course.
- For Surgery: CNOR board eligible or certified.
- For Post Anesthesia: CPAN board eligible or certified.
- For GI Lab: SGNA board eligible or certified.
