About The Position
Under minimal supervision, provides professional nursing care for patients ranging in age from newborn to geriatric, within the nurse’s competencies and following established standards and practices. Supports the mission statement, policies, and procedures of the Baptist Health System. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduated from a state-approved or accredited school of nursing.
- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice the profession as required by law, regulation in the state of practice, or policy.
- CPR certification.
- AHA BLS certification.
- If applicable by corporate policy for the unit of hire, AHA ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP certification.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
- Recent acute care experience.
