About The Position

Under minimal supervision, the Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care for patients ranging in age from newborn to geriatric, within the nurse’s competencies and following established standards and practices. The role supports the mission, policies, and procedures of the Baptist Health System, completes established position competencies within the designated introductory period, and performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate from a state-approved or accredited school of nursing.
• Hold a current license, certification, or registration to practice the profession as required by law, regulation in the state of practice, or policy.
• Hold CPR certification and AHA BLS; hold AHA ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP when applicable under corporate policy for the unit of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities
