About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical nursing for an acute care hospital in Waterloo, Iowa. The 13-week contract offers weekly pay of $2,044, based on $56.78 per hour for 36 hours per week. Eligible nurses may receive a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,267 per week. Night shift schedules are 18:45–07:15 or 19:00–07:30, both for 36 hours per week. Listed start dates are October 4, 2026, and November 2, 2026. One opening is available. VitalHire provides weekly direct deposit and a dedicated recruiter who supports candidates from submission through their last shift. The company also assists with licensing, credentialing, and onboarding. Contract extensions and new assignments are often available.
Requirements
- Active Iowa RN license, or a multistate compact license accepted in Iowa.
- At least 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical experience in acute care.
- BLS certification; ACLS is typically required.
