About The Position

The Registered Nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The role provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards.

This is a full-time night position on the Med/Surg Resource Team, with 12-hour shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. across three days of the week. The position is at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a 595-bed acute care teaching and referral hospital and the flagship hospital of Methodist Health System.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current additional certifications as required by the department.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
• At least 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience.

• BSN preferred.
