About The Position

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Ortho/Med/Surg Unit at a Level IV Trauma Center in Ontario, Oregon. The RN provides hands-on care to a variety of patients, collaborates with colleagues, maintains accurate documentation, and uses resources wisely. The RN advocates for patients’ physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being; educates patients; administers prescribed medications and treatments; and develops care plans based on patient needs.

This is a night-shift position scheduled from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Colleagues use a self-scheduling tool to select shifts, and weekend work is required. Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at hire from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Multistate license holders must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• Availability for night shifts scheduled 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and required weekends.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
