About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The nurse delivers direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role directs and supervises assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards. This position is for the Med/Surg Resource Team at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, with a 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. shift scheduled three days per week.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current additional certifications as required by the department.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
• At least 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
