About The Position

Our partner facility in Casper, Wyoming is seeking a skilled Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse for an 8- to 13-week contract. The role is available on day and night shifts and involves providing patient-centered nursing care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment. The nurse will work with an interdisciplinary team to support timely interventions and individualized treatment plans, with an emphasis on collaboration, patient advocacy, and excellent bedside care.

Requirements

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Strong critical-thinking, assessment, and prioritization skills.
• A calm, focused approach to rapidly changing clinical situations.
• Clear communication and a collaborative mindset.
• Commitment to patient dignity, safety, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions, monitor clinical changes, and promptly communicate concerns to the care team.
• Deliver and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with provider orders and facility protocols.
• Administer medications and prescribed therapies while prioritizing patient safety.
• Monitor critical-care equipment and respond appropriately to changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate and support patients and families with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection-prevention standards and established nursing practices.
