About The Position

Sunterra Springs Dardenne Prairie is seeking a nurse to deliver care to a group of residents in a nursing unit. The position involves assessing resident needs, developing individual care plans, administering nursing care, and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care. Requirements

• A current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN); the posting lists Missouri in one section and Utah in another.
• Clinical assessment skills sufficient to meet the job requirements.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and of laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with an interdisciplinary care team.
• Basic understanding of computer technology, including email use.
• Proven written and oral communication skills.
• Proven decision-making and analytical skills.
• Ability to relate positively, favorably, and cooperatively with employees, residents, family members, and personnel of outside agencies and organizations.
• Positive attitude and desire to work with the aging population.
