About The Position

Join the team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as a full-time, night-shift Respiratory Medical Surgical Registered Nurse. The RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents care in accordance with HHS standards and patient-care policies and procedures to deliver efficient, effective, quality care. The role requires providing age-appropriate care and understanding growth and development across the lifespan, assessing and interpreting patient information, and identifying each patient's age-specific needs. The RN must follow the rules and regulations of the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act. Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Current, valid Oklahoma or Multistate RN License.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care in accordance with HHS standards and patient-care policies and procedures.
Provide care appropriate to the ages of patients served on the assigned unit.
Apply knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan; assess patient-status data, interpret relevant information, and identify age-specific patient needs.
Develop, modify, and implement plans of care.
Adhere to the rules and regulations of the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
