About The Position
The Hospital of Central Connecticut is hiring Registered Nurses for Med Surg units across multiple hours and shifts. The hospital is an acute-care community teaching hospital providing inpatient and outpatient general medicine and surgical services, along with a wide range of specialties. Nurses care for patients throughout the region and across all stages of life. Registered Nurses are supported in practicing at the top of their license using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices. The hospital provides clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as nurses complete the Nurse Residency. Requirements
- Current Connecticut RN license required within 90 days of hire.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; ASN or BSN.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- One year of recent acute-care RN experience is preferred; graduate nurses are encouraged to apply.
