About The Position

MidState Medical Center is hiring Registered Nurses for its Med/Surg units across multiple hours and shifts. Registered Nurses have the opportunity to practice at the top of their license using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices. The medical center provides clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as nurses complete the Med Surg Nurse Residency.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current Connecticut RN license required within 90 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• One year of recent acute-care RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a Med/Surg unit.
