About The Position
The Registered Nurse works on Courtyard East at Chelsea Hospital, a 41-bed unit caring for medical-surgical patients and people with chronic head pain. The unit specializes in surgical post-operative care, telemetry, stroke, chronic pain management, and patient education. The RN provides quality, patient-centered care that considers patients’ age-specific, developmental, cultural, and spiritual needs, using competent clinical practice and the nursing process. The nurse integrates relationship-based care into practice and serves as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit. The position is in Chelsea, Michigan. Available schedules include 7 a.m.–7:30 p.m., 11 a.m.–11:30 p.m., and 7 p.m.–7:30 a.m. Full-time and part-time benefit-eligible schedules are available at 48 or 72 hours per two-week pay period. Every third weekend and holiday rotation is required.
Requirements
- Current Michigan nursing license.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- New hires must have a BSN or agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years.
