About The Position
Join the team as a variable-shift, PRN Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in Jacksonville, Texas. The RN is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients during a designated time frame. UT Health Jacksonville features 33 operational beds, an ICU, a 24-hour emergency department designated as a Level IV trauma center and acute stroke-ready facility, a maternity unit, advanced diagnostic technology, surgical suites, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, a wound healing center, and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness and rehabilitation facility. Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Maintain a current Texas RN license.
- Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
