Cardiac Nephrology Acute Care RN – Medical Surgical Registered Nurse
About The Position
MercyOne Northeast Iowa is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its 24-bed 2 General unit, which specializes in cardiac and nephrology care. The unit cares for cardiac patients following catheterization or electrophysiology procedures, as well as patients with congestive heart failure, chest pain, and those requiring drips. It also provides care for patients with acute and chronic renal failure. New graduates receive bedside support from a virtual nurse who uses video conferencing to support the nurse and patient care. The position is 0.9 FTE, with a 12-hour night shift from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. and every third weekend. A sign-on bonus starting at $10,000 is offered.
Requirements
- Current Iowa RN license.
- No previous experience required.

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Supervise and coordinate care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
