Cardiac Nephrology Acute Care RN – Medical Surgical Registered Nurse
About The Position
MercyOne Northeast Iowa is hiring a full-time Cardiac Nephrology Registered Nurse for its 24-bed 2 General unit, which specializes in cardiac and nephrology care. Cardiac patients include those recovering from cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology procedures, as well as patients with congestive heart failure, chest pain, and intravenous drips. The unit also cares for patients with acute and chronic renal failure. New graduates receive bedside support from a virtual nurse who uses video conferencing to support the nurse and patient care. The role is scheduled at 0.9 FTE, from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m., with every third weekend. A sign-on bonus starting at $10,000 is offered. MercyOne Northeast Iowa serves eight counties and provides personalized care through three medical centers and more than 30 clinics. The organization has more than 2,500 colleagues and 491 licensed beds across its three medical centers.
Requirements
- Current Iowa RN license.
- No previous experience is required.

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
