About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Inpatient Rehabilitation unit and provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. The unit is a 35-bed medical-surgical unit serving adult and geriatric patients with conditions including stroke, spinal cord injury, amputations, brain injury, critical illnesses, and neurological diseases. Patient ratios are 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights. Nurse aides or patient care technicians are available at a ratio of 1:10–15.

The role offers 12-hour day shifts (0630–1900) and night shifts (1830–0700), with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Nurses must work at least every third weekend and at least two holidays per year, and may be required to float to the MedSurg unit. Orientation includes classroom training, two shifts of unit-specific orientation, and an open-book exam requiring a passing score of 90%. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, along with organization, innovative problem-solving, compassion, inclusion, integrity, and collaboration.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience.
• BLS certification.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
• Demonstrated organization, innovative problem-solving, compassion, inclusion, integrity, and collaboration.
• Complete an open-book exam during orientation with a passing score of 90%.
• Work at least every third weekend and at least two holidays per year.
